In this graphic design editorial project, I researched on the Japanese design master Igarashi Takenobu's work. Takenobu's work expanded the possibilities of graphic design by incorporating 3D sculptures and axonometric geometry into Logos, alphabets, and graphic projects. By building letters into sculptural models, his works possess a depth constructed by the architectural form of each blocks of characters. I used three aspects to categorize: Geometry (幾何), 3-Dimension (立體), and Color (色彩). In each section, I build a kanji/traditional Chinese character that utilizes similar method as Takenobu's to pay my tribute to this great designer and his graphic experiments.
